Trivium to Re-Release Hard to Find Debut Album, Ember to Inferno
November 29, 2016
Although Trivium has since sold millions of albums, Ember to Inferno has been out of print for several years now, sparking the band and 5B Artist Management to partner with Cooking Vinyl to re-release the album in four configurations. And for the band’s most harcare fans, a deluxe edition even contains 13 never-before-released tracks.
“The purpose of this release is to show the very early beginnings of Trivium — perhaps an era unbeknownst to most listeners of the band,” said vocalist and guitarist Matt Heafy in a statement on the band’s website. “To look back at Ember as the starting point of Trivium becoming recognized worldwide is a staggering thought for me, considering I was 16-17 years old during the writing and recording of the record.”
A series of behind-the-scenes videos can be viewed below, which offers a closer look into the reissue of their debut album.
The band will also resume their headline tour in Europe next spring in support of latest release Silence in the Snow.
