Hatebreed Gears Up for New Album Release
March 25, 2016
Connecticut based metalcore band Hatebreed will drop new album The Concrete Confessional on May 13 via Nuclear Blast Records. Fans are eagerly awaiting the new effort, which made Rolling Stone’s “25 Most Anticipated Metal Albums for 2016” list.
The Concrete Confessional was recorded in Connecticut, produced by long-time collaborator Zeuss (Rob Zombie, Suicide Silence, Whitechapel) and mixed by Josh Wilbur (Lamb of God, Megadeth). Marcelo Vasco (Slayer) lent his creativity to the artwork.
According to the band’s press release, the new music is crushing and heavy with provocative lyrics that touch upon a number of topics that have become front-and-center: the rise of terrorism, police brutality, moral decay, greed and betrayal, increased divisiveness, and the fading promise of the American Dream, potently covered on the track “A.D.”
Check out the album’s three track teaser below, and pre-order CD bundles that contain vinyl, T-shirts, a prayer candle, a Skull and Maces journal and a digital download from Hatebreed’s online store here.
