8 New Pro Series Soloist™ Models Ready For You To Shred
January 29, 2018
2018 brings a throng of new options to our Pro Series Soloist™ collection. With eight new models that include features like poplar burl or quit maple tops, hardtail or tremolo bridges, and a ton of beautiful new finishes, these are the same ultra-comfortable, high-speed guitars that you’ve come to expect from the Soloist™ name in a slick, new package.
Don’t get lost in the new gorgeous Desert Sand finish found on our Pro Series Soloist™ SL2P MAH. The distinct poplar burl top is stylishly complemented by the guitar’s matching Jackson pointed 6-in-line headstock and 12”-16” compound radius ebony fingerboard.
The Pro Series Soloist™ SL2P MAH gets electrified when its poplar burl top is covered in the new oceanic Aqua Shock finish. A fusion of dark blues and greens, the paint job shines when matched with the black nickel recessed Floyd Rose® FRT-0500 double-locking tremolo bridge and hardware.
One of our favorite new additions, the Northern Lights finish on the Pro Series Soloist™ SL2Q MAH is simply breathtaking. Reminiscent of the natural light display in the Earth’s sky, the violet and blue Soloist™ is topped with quilt maple and single-ply body, neck and headstock binding. A one-of-a-kind look for a one-of-a-kind axe.
Also available is the Pro Series Soloist™ SL2Q MAH in Purple Phaze, a fresh new take on the popular burst finish that blends a gradient of purple hues over the pristine quilt maple top. A pair of Seymour Duncan® Distortion humbucking pickups help power the violet animal.
If you love the Northern Lights finish of the Pro Series Soloist™ SL2Q but were hoping for a fixed bridge, the SL2Q HT MAH has you covered. With the same brilliant coloring, this hardtailed Soloist™ possesses a Jackson HT6 string-through-body hardtail bridge and Jackson-branded sealed die-cast locking tuners for even the hardest rocking shredders.
The glistening shimmer of the new Deep Purple Metallic finish found on our Pro Series Soloist™ SL2 is made even better when the stage lights hit its mahogany body. Black nickel hardware and the bound ebony fingerboard’s alumiloid piranha tooth inlays further accentuate the guitar’s sparkly surface.
Stare into the abyss of the Pro Series Soloist™ SL2’s newest finish, Deep Black. The pitch-black tint of this dramatic axe is offset by the polished chrome hardware, including a recessed Floyd Rose® FRT-01000 tremolo bridge.
Last, but certainly not least, the Pro Series Soloist™ SL2P HT MAH mahogany body and poplar burl top is coated in a Carmel Burl finish that elicits the imagery of a tanned hide curing in the hot Sonoran sun. Wrapped in white, single-ply binding around the body, neck and head, this unusual hardtail guitar is both understated and interesting.
